There are at least three oversights in this question – all of them, admittedly, quite minor.
Firstly: Vic Reeves was actually billed by his real name, Jim Moir. But as the answer had to begin with V, I think we all knew what answer we were meant to give.
Secondly: Colin (the character that Moir/Reeves played) turned out not to get to own the newsagents after all. He also failed to prove that he was Norris's son (but that wasn't in the question).
Thirdly: Colin/Jim/Vic left Coronation Street on 23 November to go and live in Stoke–on–Trent with Moira Pollock. Moira was played by Louiza Patikas, who also plays Helen Tichener (née Archer) in The Archers. The door has been left open for them to return ...
